like a flower without water

is a mother and [recently discovered] homebody without time at home.  for years we have worked [the fourth, providing, member of this household works on a laptop from home], schooled, talked, entertained, run, biked, thrown frisbee, sunbathed, treehoused, ironed [i have a new perspective on the enjoyableness of ironing now], laundered, baked, eaten, and chilled at home.  i am slowly wilting.

so today i had a meeting, very important, starting mid-afternoon.  it involved biking into the greenspace by the railroad tracks, exploring the cedar jungle, checking out the new subdivision going in, and collecting library books and the pbs civil war series by ken burns at the libe.

sorry.  she’s not taking any calls this afternoon.
